Privacy
Short version: this site keeps a log of pages viewed so I can see how many people visit and where they come from. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
What the website records
Each time a page is opened, one line is written down:
- the page you looked at, and the time
- the website or advert that sent you here, if any
- your IP address, and the country, region and town it maps to
- whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer
No name, no email address, and nothing that identifies you personally unless you fill in the enquiry form yourself.
Why
To understand how many people find the site and what brings them here, so I know whether advertising is worth paying for, and to spot abuse. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a small business well. If you'd rather not be counted, most browsers' private mode and any standard blocker will stop it.
How long it's kept
IP addresses are deleted after 90 days. The rest of the line — page, source, town — is deleted after a year. Nothing is kept beyond that.
If you enquire or become a client
The enquiry form stores your name, email, phone number and message so I can reply. Clients have an account holding their check-ins, plans, photos, blood work and session history, which exists solely to coach them and is never shared. Ask and it's deleted.
Cookies
The public site sets none. Signing in to the client area or the coach console sets one cookie to keep you signed in, which is strictly necessary for that to work and isn't used for anything else.
Your rights and how to ask
You can ask what's held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Get in touch through the contact page and it'll be dealt with. If you're not happy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
